Stryde first opened its doors in Ballarat, Victoria in November 2007 with a philosophy of providing its customers with shoes and accessories that were different and unique - products that weren’t found on every shopping strip and major retail chain.

The range of that Stryde offers its customers is hand-selected from some of Europe’s finest, independently owned and operated boutique fashion houses making the store a destination for women who want quality products that stand out from the crowd.

Stryde understands that women today want wardrobe choices which not only have longevity and simplicity but are also adaptable to their own unique and personal style.

Sarah Knowles, Managing Director

Being surrounded by beautiful shoes and accessories is a dream for most women. Sarah made it her reality in November 2007 when she opened the business in her home town of Ballarat, Victoria. Her background in marketing and client liaisons gave her the ability to see an opportunity in the marketplace to not only offer a unique and exclusive range of European women’s footwear and accessories, but also provide a shopping experience that surpassed the expectation of her clients. After three years of building Stryde from the ground up, she made the decision to open a second store in Bendigo.

Bernadette Coon, Fashion Consultant – Ballarat

Bernadette’s experience in fashion retail started when she was a young girl. Her styling services and attention to detail are paramount in her ability to put together looks for any occasion and many of Stryde’s clients return regularly for her expertise.

 Deb Beazley, Fashion Consultant – Bendigo

Deb brings around 5 years of high end fashion retail experience to the Stryde team. After making the move from Ballarat to Bendigo over 11 years ago, Deb was lured from her job as as a Beauty Therapist to the dynamic and stimulating world of fashion and has never looked back. Her knowledge of the industry and upcoming trends is a true asset to Stryde's clients. 

Bianca Ludeman, Fashion Consultant – Bendigo

After completing her VCE at Bendigo Senior Secondary College in 2010, Bianca took brought her existing 3 years of retail experience at the busy locally owned Bicknell's store to become a member of the Stryde Bendigo team. Her bubbly nature, friendly outlook and 'can-do' attitude are a perfect match to Stryde's values and she is a true asset to the Bendigo store.
